In a city of millions like Sydney, it’s not so easy to find people who are on the same wavelength as you and with whom you can form a band. Body Type were lucky, they say. Because they succeeded in doing just that. After many rehearsals, Body Type have emerged as one of Australia’s most promising newcomers. What the four women have in common is a dislike for the state of the world and an unbounded yearning for bliss.
The result was the 2022 album “Everything Is Dangerous But Nothing’s Surprising“: recorded in just one week and full of rage and euphoria. Thanks to the recognition in Australia, people in Europe have meanwhile become curious about Body Type, too, where they will present their new album “Expired Candy“, which is announced for May, at the Roskilde Festival and at Rock Werchter, among others. And Berlin can also look forward to seeing this cool all-female band on stage at the Pure&Crafted.
