With their Meet the Makers Motorcycle & Fashion Show, Barbara and Matthias Berger invite the makers of the motorcycle scene into their event living room. Around 50 exhibitors and 4,000 visitors are expected in the coal bunker (“Kohlebunker”) of Motorworld Munich on 7 and 8 May. Visitors will be able to talk directly to the designers, manufacturers, customisers and artists behind the brands. At the stands of Fuel Motorcycles, Thedi Leathers or Dainese, you can finally find out how the cool stuff you use all the time is actually made.
Atelier show how cool motorcycles can be rebuilt. Inspecting a Boxer Scrambler with a Helleluja beer in hand easily beats out any champagne flute in Bayreuth. Who has the better sound becomes clear at the latest after sampling the three-stage exhaust systems of Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde.
But looking and buying is only half the fun. On the outdoor area of Motorworld, it’s time to get in the saddle. Harley-Davidson, Indian Motorcycles and RGNT Motorcycles with their electric models in classic appearance offer test rides.
The ride of the Berlin Petrolettes for the International Female Ride Day will also start from Meet the Makers – and will be back for the party in the evening. The Petrolettes already proved how much riding and partying are one for them at the last Pure&Crafted. At the concert of bike’n’blues rockers Jimmy Cornett & The Deadmen they will howl at the moon together: Yep, comrades, the season is open!
