It couldn’t be a better match. The Pure&Crafted and the Lisbon Motorcycle Film Festival both agree that there is a lot of a big screen in motorcycling.
The Lisbon Motorcycle Film Fest has been proving this since 2016. “Easy Rider” has not been the sole example. The myth lives on in new films. In Lisbon, photographer Manuel Portugal and friends created a platform for short and long films, talks and exhibitions about motorcycles. In the beginning, the makers of Lisbon Motorcycle Film Festival had to approach the filmmakers. Today, they can no longer show all the films that are offered to them. The focus is not so much on the motorcycle, but on the adventure: people in unpredictable situations in which they have to prove more than that they can pull on the throttle.
For Pure&Crafted, the festival will leave its traditional historic cinema palace for the third time and set up a short film programme in Berlin. Fodder for wanderlust!
